Dr Kochutresiamma ,graduated from Kerala University, post graduated from SNDT Women’s   University Bombay. Did her PhD from Kerala University. Presently she is Working as Principal, Government College of Nursing,Medical College. P. O, Trivandrum and Registrar, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council Red Cross Road, Trivandrum . She is Awarded WHO Fellowship to study recent trends and Development in Educational Technology and Research in Thailand and Indonesia.

Worked as Health Consultant to MOH, Ethiopia to develop modular Curriculum for Health Extension workers and conduct training of Trainers Programme for two months November & December 2003.She was a Master Trainer, MOH, and Ethiopia for conducting ‘Training of Trainers’ workshop She Attended Linnaeus Palme teacher exchange Programme at Karolinska Institute, Sweden, in August 2005.She is Recipient of the TNAI centenary award, 2008.She is PhD guide, attended various International, National Conferences and Published articles both in National and International journals.

A very good Academician and researcher. She was also the former president of Nursing Research Society of India
